What made Being Wear worth covering

Pedestrian.TV's audience skews toward readers who care about brands doing things differently, and Being Wear's approach to underwear does exactly that. There are no men's or women's sections on our site. Instead, customers shop by tops or bottoms, choosing what fits their body rather than a category assigned to them, including styles with or without a pouch.

Every piece is made from super-soft, breathable modal sourced from sustainably grown beech trees, with flat seams, no irritating tags and no-dig waistbands — details that make our underwear sensory-friendly for neurodivergent wearers and anyone with sensitive skin, not just gender-free in name.

Being Wear was founded by Andrew Whittle, whose daughter struggled to find underwear that suited her sensory needs and didn't fit neatly into the traditional men's or women's categories. That experience is still the reason every product we make starts with comfort and inclusion, not convention.

We're proud to have that story reach Pedestrian.TV's readers, and to keep introducing more people to a genuinely different way of shopping for underwear.
