That’s why giving back has been part of Being from the beginning. As we grow, we’re continuing to support organisations doing meaningful work for people, communities and the planet.

We’re proud to partner with Thread Together, an Australian organisation that connects brand-new clothing from the fashion industry with people experiencing hardship and disadvantage.
Rather than allowing excess clothing to go to waste, Thread Together works with brands like Being to keep clothing in circulation and get it into the hands of people who need it - providing choice, dignity and hope along the way.
For Being, it feels like a natural partnership. We’ve always believed that something as simple as what you put on your body can make a difference to how you feel. Comfort matters. Choice matters. And everyone deserves the dignity of having something new to wear.
We’re supporting Thread Together in two important ways.
supporting Wardrobe & Capsule Services
We’re incredibly proud to be supporting Thread Together’s Wardrobe & Capsule Service.
The program installs permanent wardrobes inside women’s shelters and crisis accommodation, stocked with brand-new clothes for women escaping family and domestic violence.
For many people arriving at a shelter, there hasn’t been an opportunity to pack a bag or bring the things they need.
Having a wardrobe of new essentials available when they arrive provides something practical and immediate - but it can mean much more than clothes.
Being will be helping keep these wardrobes stocked with new underwear, giving those arriving at shelters access to one of the most personal and essential items of clothing.

Being has joined Thread Together’s Fashion Impact Collective - bringing fashion brands together to help sustain the national service that gets new surplus clothing to people experiencing hardship.
Because donating clothing is only part of the story. Behind every item is an Australia-wide network of people, warehousing, collection, logistics and systems required to sort, manage and redistribute clothing responsibly. The Fashion Impact Collective helps support that infrastructure so Thread Together can continue its work into the future.
For us, it’s about taking greater responsibility for the clothing we create and supporting a more thoughtful fashion industry - the one where excess can become opportunity.

Different organisations. Different communities. But a shared belief in helping people feel supported, included and comfortable being themselves.
We’re still a young brand, and we know there’s plenty more we can do. So this is only the beginning. More partnerships. More giving back. And hopefully, a little more comfort where it’s needed most.
