After years in marketing and advertising, I’ve realised how much those core skills stay with you long after you leave. Strategy, curiosity, collaboration, and adaptability all translate into a rewarding life beyond agency walls.
For me, it’s meant using those same foundations to build something new from the ground up. Launching Being Wear has been a reminder that brand building whether for clients or yourself always comes back to understanding people, solving problems creatively, and staying true to your values.
Advertising taught me to listen, pivot fast, balance creativity with commercial reality, and continue to ask questions and learn. Lessons that continue to shape every decision we make as founders.
