made for all human beings

We’ve simplified sizing with a universal size chart built around something that is actually accurate - measurements. One size chart for all human beings, no matter how you define yourself or what style you choose.

measuring for boxers, briefs & g-strings

The best way to find the right size boxers, briefs and g-strings is to use our interactive sizing tool.

what our sizing stands for

We’ve discovered huge differences in sizing across underwear brands, even across the underwear range of a single brand. That’s why we recommend using measurements.

sizing for children

Being Wear is for all ages, including children. Our sizing starts small enough to fit children from around 5 years of age, with the same soft, sensory-friendly fabrics we use for all our wear. Refer to the following for equivalent child sizes.

for tops

We want every being to feel supported and comfortable, whether you’re wearing a bralette for light comfort or a binder for firm support. Here’s how to measure yourself to find the best fit.

measuring for a bralette or binder

Step 1: Measure your bust

Either, measure your full bust
This is the fullest part of your chest. Wrap the tape around the fullest point over your breasts, keeping it level but not too tight.

Or, measure your under bust
This is the area right under your breasts, around your ribcage. Wrap the measuring tape snugly around your under bust, keeping it level all the way around.

Step 2: refer to our size chart

Use either your full bust or under bust measurement to match your size on our sizing chart above.

Every body is different and everybody has different preferences on how they want their underwear to fit and feel. Our sizing guide is here to help you find the right fit for your body. If you order a size that isn't quite right, don't worry, you can return and exchange for another size. We also offer full refunds as well.

It is important to note, our bralettes are designed for freedom with a relaxed fit, while our binders offer a more supportive firmer fit. Remember, underwear, in particular binders, should never be painful. If you’re unsure or in between sizes, we recommend sizing up for safety and comfort.

Binder support, care & wear

Whether it’s your first binder or your fifth, wearing one is a personal journey and we’re here to help make sure it’s a safe and comfortable one. Binders can be a powerful tool for self-expression, but like any tool, they work best (and last longest) when you care for them, and yourself, properly.

For first-time wearers

Your first few wears are about getting to know your binder and how it feels on your body.

  • Start slow - try wearing your binder for 1–2 hours at a time to see how your body responds.
  • Pay attention to fit - it should feel snug and supportive, not painful or restrictive.
  • Move around - stretch, bend, reach - make sure you can breathe deeply and move freely.
  • Break it in - like a good pair of shoes, your binder may feel a bit firm at first, but it should never hurt.

Remember: everyone’s body is different. There’s no “one right way” to wear a binder, only the way that feels safe and comfortable for you.

For safe, healthy wear

  • Wear for no more than 8 hours at a time - your body needs time to rest and breathe.
  • Take breaks on rest days - muscles and skin need recovery time to stay healthy.
  • Listen to your body - if you feel pain, shortness of breath, or dizziness, take your binder off. Your comfort and safety always come first.

A well-cared-for binder will be there for you day in, day out, helping you feel like yourself, without compromising your health. And if you’re new to binding, remember: it’s a process of learning, listening, and finding what works best for your body.
